"Little Linksters" Update

Good Afternoon Everyone!

Well our newly expanded family is doing great....Mom & Dad are still adjusting to sleepless nights again after our first month with our wonderful baby boy....and managing two kids....our 4 year old & a newborn is quite a challenge BUT worth every moment! No question about that!

I'm writing this entry during a quick study break as I prepare for my PGA Level 3 Checkpoint and final presentation. My journey through the PGA PGM program is almost finished and my life long professional goal of becoming a class "A" PGA Professional is almost a reality! Just praying my nerves can handle my trip to Port St. Lucie and knocking this thing out on Monday & Tuesday.

A quick update on the upcoming NEW Fall "Little Linksters" Programs:

Lake Mary Prep:
(In Progress) 8 Week Program, Meets Every Saturday @ 9:00 a.m. from September 19th- November 14th...2 spots still left!! Contact Nadine Gorman at LMP at 407-312-0075 to sign up!

StarChild Academy:

6 Week Program, Meets Every Friday starting @ 3:30 p.m. with 2 age groups available starting from October 3rd-November 6th. Registrations at StarChild Academy in front lobby. REMEMBER: This class is for StarChild students only. Contact Melisa Elliott for more info @ 321-278-1611

Legacy Academy:

6 Week Program, Meets Every Friday starting @ 2:00 p.m. with 3-5 year old age group the only program offered at this location. Session starts on October 3rd and runs through November 6th. City of Deltona (Campbell Park):

6 Week Program, Meets Every Saturday starting @ 2:00-2:45 for 3-5 year olds, 3:00-3:45 for 6-9 year olds and 4:00-4:45 for 10-12 year olds. Runs from October 10th-November 14th. "LITTLE LINKSTERS" JUNIOR GOLF UPDATE...

Good Day to all the "Little Linksters" and parents of the Linksters!!

I wanted to update everyone on where things stand currently with the program. As some of you know, my wife, daughter and I are awaiting a new addition to our family. Our son, Austin James Elliott (A.J. for short) is scheduled to be delivered by C-Section on Tuesday August 18th. We are very excited about this and cant wait to welcome Austin to the world.

With the birth of Austin comes a temporary hold on all of our "Little Linksters" programs in Deltona and at the three locations in Lake Mary. We currently have two more classes scheduled in our current session at StarChild Academy in Lake Mary. We will start scheduling class at the following locations for the fall very soon:

City of Deltona

Lake Mary Prep School

StarChild Academy- Lake Mary (Private)

Legacy Academy- Lake Mary (Private)


In the meantime I would like to take this opportunity to let you know that I have been working on some very special private lesson package deals which include golf clubs for all past students of the Little Linksters program. I'll hopefully roll out that info to you all by the weekend of August 8th and 9th.

I'm also very excited to invite all the "Little Linksters" out to play in a very very special event at my course in Winter Park on Saturday September 12th. As I have mentioned to many of you already, the Gavin Fitzgerald "Kids Fore Kids" Golf Tournament will be held at Winter Park Country Club on Saturday September 12th. This event is one where kids ranging in age from 4-17 play in a 9 hole scramble event and they raise money through hole sponsorships. All proceeds from the event go to the Arnold Palmer Hospital for Children as well as the Winnie Palmer Hospital. Below are more details on the event:


On Saturday, September 12th the Winter Park Country Club will be hosting a very unique and special charity golf event which will benefit the Arnold Palmer Hospital for Children and the Winnie Palmer Hospital for Woman and Babies in Orlando, FL. In its second year, The Gavin Fitzgerald "Kids Fore Kids" Charity Golf Event is on a mission to get kids actively involved early in life to learn the fundamentals of giving. Their goal is to build a future of young philanthropist and help those in need. The idea of the event itself is kids raising money through playing golf for kids in need.The tournament format is a 9 hole, four "Kid" team scramble. The teams will be a mix of children 4 to 17 years of age. Money will be raised in a variety of ways. The most unique way is through the children actively looking for individuals or corporations to sponsor them as they take part in the scramble on September 12th.

Currently, the Kids Fore Kids Foundation is looking for companies to consider making corporate monetary donations, product donations to act as giveaways to the children participating in the tournament or product donations to act as silent auction items to also help raise funds.

What is the "Little Linksters" Junior Golf Program by Brendon Elliott Golf LLC?

Established in August of 2008, the "Little Linksters" Junior Golf Program is a GREAT introduction to the game of golf for children from 3-12 years of age. The program is taught in a fun and interactive way using a combination of both traditional and very non-traditional ways. The bottom line with the "Little Linksters" program is fun!

Who runs the "Little Linksters" Junior Golf Program?

The program is run by Central Florida Golf Professioanl, Brendon Elliott. Mr. Elliott is the Head Golf Professioanl at the Historic Winter Park Country Club where he has been for almost 11 years. He is also the owner of Brendon Elliott Golf LLC, which is his private golf instruction business based in Deltona, FL. Brendon Elliott Golf LLC is the parent company of the "Little Linkstes" Junior Golf Program.
